Q: What time is check-in and check-out time?
A: Check-in is 10:00AM. Check-out is 3:00PM. When available, early check-in and late check-out can be arranged with the owner.
Q: Tell us about sleeping arrangements.
A: There are 4 bedrooms on the first level. All the bedrooms have twin beds with top-of-the-line mattresses and frames. There are no bunk beds. The Small Bedroom has 2 beds. The Front Bedroom has three beds. The Altar Bedroom has 5 beds and the Chapel Bedroom has 4 beds. Each bed is made up with fresh clean sheets and pillow with pillow case.
Q: What about food for the weekend?
A: Each group provides their own food for their stay. Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to prepare your meals. Click here for a list of kitchen supplies. There are also restaurants and fast food places in Fairmont, 7 miles away.
* One option is to divide into groups-Each group is responsible for a meal and clean-up.
Remember to make light meals! Each person could bring a snack to share - that is 14 snacks!
Q: Do we clean when we leave?
A: Granada Getaway has its own housekeeper. We do ask you to strip your bed upon departure. Gather the garbage to one spot and run the dishwasher.
Q: How much space is there for each person to work?
A: Each person has a 5 foot table with great lighting, drink holder and an adjustable, cushioned office chair.

Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: First, check the on-line calendar for availability. If you find a date that works for you, contact the owners, Deb & Kevin Kelly at auntscrappys@hotmail.com or 507-235-3505 at Picture This! Scrap That!. Once availability is confirmed you will be sent a packet. This packet includes everything you need to plan your stay at Granada Getaway. After your stay at Granada Getaway, you will have first priority for the next year.
Q: What is the payment/cancellation policy?
A: A non-refundable deposit is required within two weeks of making a booking. The balance of the payment is due 45 days before you arrive at Granada Getaway. If you cancel your stay less than 30 days prior to arrival, your rental fee is non-refundable.
Q: Do you have a waiting list for weekends?
A: We post all cancellations and weekend openings on the website. View availability on the calendar page.
Q: What else do I need to know?
A: *Granada Getaway is smoke and pet free.
*Granada Getaway is air-conditioned.
*Besides being 7 miles from Picture This! Scrap That!, southern Minnesota's largest scrap booking store, we offer a small on-site store to help you with any items you may have forgotten.
*You can bring your own DVD’s and VHS tapes to watch on our big TV.
*We also have an I-Pod docking station available.
*If you are coming to quilt, your irons will be on their own circuits. You will not have any surges to worry about.
* There is also a quilting store about 25 minutes from Granada Getaway in Sherburn, Minnesota.
